We wanted to make you aware of an opportunity coming your way this Tuesday night, January 27th from 6-8pm at Journey Community Church. We’ll be meeting in the Edge 56 room and providing you with free simple pizza/salad dinner and a great night of training. Childcare is provided for infant through 5th grade.
TOPIC: Building Relational Bridges with Your Child
This workshop will focus on several specific tools to help you understand your child’s unique “style”. Practical suggestions will be given to help you improve your communication with everything from your toddler to your teen. You’ll also get some ideas for how to get them to open up to you and specific ways to help motivate and encourage your child. You are guaranteed to learn more about yourself as well as the members of your family. This training will be a win for you and a GREAT investment of your time.
FACILITATOR: Bonnie Hayman and her family are a long-standing and active part of our Journey Community and it is a huge blessing to have her available to us. She and her husband, Jon, have 3 children (21, 19 and 15). Bonnie is also a counselor at La Mesa Arts Academy and has nearly 30 years of experience working in education and with families. Her passion is helping families to connect and form deep relationships and this seminar will reflect that.
