We are hosting our 73rd Blood Drive at Journey!
That’s right, over the past 22 years, Journey has hosted 72 blood drives, collected 1,842 units and touched the lives of 5,526 people!
Donate and you’ll receive a free donut from Plaza Cafe*.
In the past 22 years, Journey blood drives have touched the lives of 5,526 people! We love that! On Sunday, April 27th the San Diego Blood Mobile will be in the Journey parking lot from 8am – 1:30pm.
You can make a huge difference in someone’s life and you’ll also get a free donut in Plaza Cafe*. Make an appointment online to donate anytime between 8am – 1:30pm. Limited walk-up appointments will also be available at the bus.
*Show proof of your donor appointment in Plaza Cafe for a free donut. Same day only. Plaza Cafe closes at 11:30am, we recommend claiming your donut before your appointment time.

There is a face behind every blood donation.
All blood donations from our January blood drive will benefit Colton: Colton Pursglove was diagnosed with Very High Risk B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at 14 months old, on Dec 10, 2020. Colton has needed well over 50 blood transfusions, and has been in chemotherapy treatment since his diagnosis.
Colton is now 3 years old and unfortunately in January 2023, he relapsed, so he needed to restart intensive treatments and this summer he underwent a stem cell transplant. In Oct. of 2023, they discovered new bone marrow Leukemia and his is awaiting another treatment plan.
