DIVORCE CARE

Mondays from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Center Room, Starts August 17th

DivorceCare is a powerful 14-week study that is very helpful while navigating the extremely difficult time of separation and divorce. It gives very practical, candid advice regarding the emotional, spiritual and financial challenges we face during this time. More info >

MOMS OF LGBTQ

First Monday of every month at 6:30 pm
Riptide 

Moms of LGBTQ Support Group was created by mothers with children of all ages (kids and adults) in the LGBTQ community. It is a safe place of encouragement, support, and acceptance for moms by moms who are living this journey; we love Jesus and we love our children. We have no curriculum and no agenda in our group. ALZHEIMER'S AND DEMENTIA CAREGIVERS SUPPORT

First Tuesdays at 11 am in Encounter

JCC Crisis and Care Ministries sponsors a support group for caregivers and interested individuals for those with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. The group is facilitated by the Alzheimer’s Association of San Diego. Meetings are the first Tuesday of each month in The Side Room at 11am. info at ashrestha@journeycom.org

Re:generation Discipleship Groups

Sunday’s at 9am and Wednesday’s at 6pm in the Side Room

JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF WORKSHOP Monday's at 6:15pm in the Plaza Room, 4 weeks beginning July 20th This experiential workshop has been created to support those grieving the death of an important person in their life, particularly those who may feel “stuck” in their grief. It is designed to be a safe space where participants will: - receive education around grief and the grieving process - explore the complex emotions, cognitions and physical responses which come with grief - earn coping skills to better navigate the grieving process - be encouraged and supported to hold your loss in a space that honors it without pressure or expectations
