A community of artists & musicians following Jesus working to make the return to God irresistible. If you are a musician, love enjoying God’s presence on and off the stage, and have a passion to see people encounter Jesus, come along!
Journey Java Volunteers
Serving God’s people through caffeine, friendliness & lovingly crafted beverages. Free Lattes for all who volunteer at this hub of community!
Journey Campus + Worship Center
Greeters, Ushers & Info Table working together to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable and connected at Journey
Sundays at 9 & 11 am
Serve donuts & other yummy delicacies to hungry Journey-ites on Sunday AM!
Receiving and praying for people during/after worship services needing encouragement and prayer support.

Help provide Audio Support, Video, Computer Graphics & Lighting Production during the worship services.
SERVING AT JOURNEY: Journey Community
Tuesday – Friday 10 am – 4 pm
Seeking compassionate volunteers to receive and help assist those coming to the Journey office seeking benevolence, charity, and/or prayer… spiritual training a plus! Looking to staff 2-4 hour shifts, 1 person per day Tuesday through Friday.
First Step & Our Journey workshops
Monthly & Quarterly workshops
“Connectors” are gifted discussion facilitators who help liaison people into the Journey Community through the First Step & Our Journey workshops. Also seeking uber-friendly greeters to help with registration.
Pastor Prayer Team (PPT)
A group of Prayer Warriors (mostly anonymously) interceding in prayer specifically for the needs of our Journey pastors.
Faithfully providing intercession for people requesting prayer at Journey; Equipping and encouraging prayer warriors for this work.

Hope for the Homeless
Hope For The Homeless has been on the streets of San Diego every Friday night since 2003. Meet at the Journey Food Bank at 5pm to make 450 PB&J sandwiches, then drive to downtown SD to hand out food and hang out with homeless friends. More info >
Journey Food Bank
Journey’s Food Bank provides food support to two senior facilities, daily visitors to Journey seeking help, and 4 large-scale Food Distributions each month. Volunteer to serve monthly on the distribution days helping pass out food, or weekly to sort food on Tuesdays. More info >

Transitional Shelter Volunteers Needed For the 5th Consecutive Year, Journey will be a host site for the Interfaith Network's Rotational Shelter from July 1 to 15, 2019. We will have 12 guests with us who are transitioning to permanent housing. Interested in helping...read more
