It’s NOT OK. You can DO SOMETHING to combat human trafficking! Join us on October 8 to participate in 3Strands Global’s 5/10K Walk/Run at Tecolote Shores Park, Mission Bay. 3Strands Global is a very effective organization whose mission is to combat human trafficking through sustainable employment, education and engagement initiatives. The Race to End Human Trafficking is an integral part of their fundraising efforts The 5/10K Walk/Run is Oct 8th at Tecolote Shores Park. 

This is a kid-friendly event with karate demonstrations, music and speakers. Journey will be staffing a booth for face painting and balloon making.

Proceeds go toward funding victim service agencies in San Diego.

New team members must register by Sunday, September 25th to guarantee they receive a race shirt made by a survivor of human trafficking in Cambodia. People can register up until the day of the race, but if they register after September 25th, it is not guaranteed that their race shirt will be survivor-made. Questions? We’ll have a table in the lobby on the weekend of Sept. 23 and 25.
