Journey’s Clean Water ministry is focused on equipping servant leaders, both here and abroad, with practical, sustainable solutions to the global water crisis in which every 20 seconds a child dies from drinking contaminated water. By providing communities with rainwater harvesting systems, health and hygiene education, and Sawyer water purifiers, Journey’s Clean Water ministry is improving the lives of individuals significantly. When this basic need is met, communities benefit through improved health, the ability to be more productive, and an overall enhancement in the quality of life. All of these are achieved through the efforts of ordinary people working together in the local church in country, empowering them to share the knowledge that they have learned long after the Clean Water mission team has left.
