Club TK2 Family Campout
Join us for our first ever Club TK2 Family Campout! We will be heading to Stelzer Park in Lakeside for the weekend of October 18th – 20th, 2019. We’ll have a fun filled weekend of hiking, scavenger hunts, crafts, games, worship, a lesson and more for the entire family!
This group campsite is shaded by old growth oak trees and is the perfect spot to feel like you are getting away without lots of travel. The space can accommodate 45 people, but to make sure we all fit, please bring a tent sized for your family that is not oversized. For example: Please don’t bring a 10 person tent for 2 people! 🙂
Your family will need to bring: Tents, bedding, closed toed shoes for hiking, sunscreen, etc. No need to pack lots of toiletries as the restrooms only have toilets and sinks… so bring some wet wipes to “shower” with if you wish and possibly a hat for your amazing camping hair!
We will provide camp style meals, snacks and drinks. If you would like to bring a small cooler for your own preferred items, that’s perfectly fine.
Check in will be Friday, October 18th at 4pm. If your work schedule will prevent you from arriving at 4pm, no worries! Sunset isn’t until 6:15 and we will also have a couple lanterns so that you can set up camp afterwards. We will check out at 11am on Sunday the 20th.
San Diego County parks do not allow for smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes. We are also asking that there is no alcohol.
The cost of camp is $20 per person and includes your food, drinks and a t-shirt. You will need at least one adult from your family to attend with your child(ren).
