Hope for the Homeless
Journey has been serving the homeless of San Diego since 2003.
Want to join in? Meet at the Journey Food Bank on Fridays at 2:30 pm to make 600 PB&J sandwiches and/or at 5:30 pm to carpool to take food and water to downtown SD and hang out with our friends. We get back before 9 pm.
You can show up and just prepare sandwiches or just join us for our time downtown. We’d love to have you join us for either or both. You’ll find your fellow volunteers to be friendly and helpful and your time with the homeless to be eye-opening. If you have questions, please contact Becka Montoya.
