At JCC, we think community is vital. That’s why we’re committed to group life. We’ve got a few different types of small groups that meet both on and off campus. Small groups are environments where you have the opportunity to interact with the Bible in a conversational manner; pray for and with one another; and they are a great way to get connected and make some new friends.

Affinity Groups
These are groups based on life-stage. We have groups for 20-somethings, 30-somethings, men, women, singles and others. These groups meet on the JCC campus at various times throughout the week.

Entry Groups
These are groups that meet in homes and are curriculum driven. They meet for a fixed time period determined by the length of the study. The studies being offered will vary. Opportunities to join an Entry Group will be given throughout the year. Find more information on current groups such as Financial Peace University, here.

Home Groups
Groups meet weekly in homes throughout San Diego County. If you are interested in joining a group, attend the Home Group Connection gathering. The next Home Group Connection is during the Fall 2012 season.

Currently all of our small groups are participating in church-wide initiative – the Community Bible Experience. The goal of this study is to read through the entire New Testament of the Bible and to interact with others in a small group environment and share your discoveries.
