LIFE GROUPS WEDNESDAYS 6:30-8:30
DINNER IS PROVIDED FOR $5.00 (Free Dinner For Leaders)
Life Groups are gender/grade specific groups that focus on connection with God and connection to community. Every Wednesday we will share a meal, run around like crazy, laugh hard, worship together, play games, experience God, and learn to do life with others who are just like you and me!!!
You don’t want to miss out. This is one of the best ways to get connected, make friends, and further your relationship with God.
FALL RETREAT OCTOBER 5&6
Our Fall Retreat is happening October 5 & 6!!!!!
Join us as guys go away to the DESERT and girls go “GLAMPING” in Pacific Beach.
This is an incredible opportunity to jump in, meet friends, hear from God, be together, laugh till you pee your pants, and eat the most incredible food in the whole wide world!!!!
Also…… it’s only $60. (what!!! that’s so cheap….. yes we are losing money on this…. but we love you and don’t want money to keep you from coming)

We’re having a Riptide Christmas Party!!!!
Join us Wednesday December 5th 6:30-8:30 for our Riptide Christmas Party. We’ll share hot cocoa, make cookies, decorate some of your leaders, have Carol Karaoke, oh… and give away a ton of free presents.

WINTERCAMP JANUARY 18-20
Something incredibly unique happens when we leave the typical and get away. When we stop what we are doing and notice there is so much more to this life, so much that we have been missing. This weekend we can realize that God wants to be with you. He wants to speak to you. He wants you to laugh and smile and find joy in the fact that you are his child, created in his image. He wants to place adventure and calling into your story. Are you ready?
Riptide’s Winter Camp is right around the corner and space is limited. Turn in your nonrefundable $50 deposit to guarantee you a spot for camp.
So here’s the details:
When: Friday, January 18th, 3:00pm meeting at Riptide.
Pick Up January 20th 2:15pm at Riptide (We will be taking a Charter Bus to and from camp)
Where: Palomar Mountain Christian Camp

ASH WEDNESDAY WORSHIP NIGHT MARCH 6
Join us for our annual Ash Wednesday Worship night this week from 6:30-8:30!!!
This is a worship event for Edge56, Riptide, and Encounter (5th – 12th graders) to experience a night together as we seek a God who loves us.
DISNEYLAND TRIP MARCH 8
When: Friday, March 8, 6:45a-11:00p
We have decided to plan a Disneyland Day Trip, with a little bit of a catch…. It’s on a Friday….
Oh no!!! A Friday, don’t we have school??? Why a Friday? 🙁
***There are a bunch of our Riptide Students and Leaders that hold Southern California annual passes. What this means is our “Blockout” dates restrict us from going all weekends, school breaks, etc. In other words, we wouldn’t be able to go any time that students are off of school.
Not to mention, that those “Blockout” dates are massively crowded.
Parents, we understand that this is a bit of a long shot and can put you in such an odd place to make decisions: cost, date, school, etc.
But we wanted to send out an invite, in the same way a family trip would involve asking a few friends along.
So here’s our question, are you a Disneyland passholder? Are your grades strong enough where taking off a day of school is acceptable? Is this even a possibility? You can come even if you are not a passholder you just need to purchase a ticket either online or at Disneyland.
Can you go to Disneyland with us?
BEACH CAMPING SUMMER RETREAT JUNE 30th – JULY 3rd
When: June 30th- July 3rd
Awesome news! This summer we will be beach camping as a Riptide Family!!!
This will be an incredible time not only to take advantage of the wind, waves, and creation, but also connect with each other and connect with God. We will gather multiple times a day to reflect, learn about God and worship big. This week will have team recreation competitions, free time, amazing food and hangouts by fires.
