How Can I Trust The Bible?
Open Your Bible

May 3 – 24

The Bible is God’s story to us. It provides a framework and boundaries to our understanding of God, the world, and ourselves. But, how do we know it’s actually trustworthy and true? How about the claim that God in the Old Testament seems cruel or unjust? What about the Resurrection? People don’t normally rise from the dead, right? So how do we know Jesus did? These are the Bible questions we’ll explore in this special Open Your Bible class. So, if you’re interested in exploring some tough questions and learning some amazing truths about the Bible, this class is sure to encourage you.

How Do I Navigate Life in our Confusing Culture?
Thursdays 6:30 – 7:45 PM, Side Room
May 5 – 26

How do we navigate and live in a confusing and confounding culture while trying to follow a countercultural Jesus? Perhaps a passage in Paul’s letter to the Philippians can help us. From that passage an ancient Christian tradition developed which helped followers of Jesus determine how to flourish in any culture: Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. By studying Scripture, looking at art, listening to music, discussing film and much more, we will explore how these three objective ideas can help us navigate our culture in a way that is absolutely winsome and yet countercultural.

Yoga Faith

We create a safe space for whatever God has for you. All levels and genders and welcome and no prior experience is necessary. Come as you are! No need to sign up. More info >
