EDGE56 SUMMER CAMP HIGHLIGHTS

Edge 56 took an amazing and energetic group of 50 students and 22 leaders to summer camp
at Pine Valley! 

 

The week was filled with high energy games like slip ‘n slide kickball, giant soccer, human bowling, dye wars & pool olympics.

The youth also loved the classic camp activities of zip line, dirt scooters, ropes course, archery, mega slip ‘n slide and more.

Each evening we had a night session with high energy camp worship, led by Darby Johansen and an awesome team of High Schoolers.

Game On- It’s Your Move.
The message brought to life how Jesus has taken 9,999 steps towards us, and what’s our next move towards Him. It drew from the parallel that board games have lots of rules to follow, but Jesus doesn’t play by those rules and we don’t need to be perfect to approach Him.

Our goal of camp was connection- students connecting with God, their peers and their adult leaders. We have seen that happen in deeper and greater ways than we could have imagined. It was an awesome week in so many ways and we are already looking forward to strengthening those connections and building more in this next year.
