Did you know that all the water falling on the ground in La Mesa flows untreated through channels, streams and storm drains into San Diego Bay, carrying with it all of the trash and gunk that it picks up along the way? This isn’t good for our oceans. And it isn’t good for Ed Noble and all his surf buddies. Help keep our oceans clean at the California Coastal Cleanup Day—Saturday, September 17 from 9:00 AM to noon. The City of La Mesa is targeting the Alvarado Channel and has asked for our help removing trash and debris.
