Help Support Local Teachers
The last few years have been difficult time for a lot of people in the U.S. San Diego has not been exempt from this struggle. Not our teachers…and certainly not our schools. We want Journey to be a church that supports it’s local schools. In the last few years we have built wonderful relationships with three of them—La Mesa Middle School, Bancroft Elementary School and San Miguel Elementary. Between now and the start of school (August 16), we will be collecting basic teaching supplies for these schools: pens, pencils, paper and markers. We’ll be collecting these materials beginning July 20 in the lobby before and after services and throughout the week outside the church office.
