I love when we as a community are a part of defining moments in people’s lives. Last weekend with our Big Beach Baptism was a huge example of that. This weekend we saw families dedicating their children – a huge defining moment for them and thus for us as a community.
Then the God at the Movies message looked at the film MONEYBALL in which we looked at Jesus word “REPENT”: we must RETHINK EVERYTHING, all the things on which we are building our lives.
A lot of us mistake the idea of letting Jesus into our lives as a part of our lives versus surrendering our lives to Jesus. We mistake adding Jesus to our lives with building our lives on Him. Our key passage was Matthew 11
Matt. 11:28 “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest.29 “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and YOU WILL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. 30 “For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
To follow Jesus is to take His Yoke!
