RENEW, HEALING and the Weekend that Was
Stories are powerful. This is especially true when they are stories of God at work in people’s lives and even more so when they are about people finding Jesus in the midst of circumstances that are nothing short of crushing! This weekend our series RENEW featured “Gabe’s story.” The message was on “HEALING” and at least to my way of thinking, starts with the Imago Dei (something we talk incessantly about at Journey) and the worth, dignity and value of every person we meet.
ONE TO ONE
We featured our ministry called “one to one” this weekend. It pairs kids with special needs with someone that can give them the focus they need to thrive in our Generations Ministries.
ARTISTS
We also featured an art display at Journey Java by 2 of our disabled artists.
