IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD

Ideas for ways to serve in your own neighborhood. What other ideas can you come up with?

Bake cookies for your neighbor
Say “hello” or wave each time you see your neighbors
Bring dinner to a neighbor who is ill or who just had a new baby
Write a friendly message or draw a happy picture on your neighbor’s sidewalk using chalk
Bring in your neighbor’s trash can or offer to wash their car
Leave a bottle of bubbles, a coloring book, or flowers on your neighbor’s doorstep
Ask an elderly neighbor if there is a chore that you can help them with
Offer to walk your neighbor’s dog
Offer to play with your neighbor’s kids for an afternoon
Go door to door collecting food contributions for the Journey Food Bank
