School Supplies Drive (14th Annual)

Download our shopping list and place donations in a collection bin on campus or purchase supplies on our Amazon Wish List and the supplies are shipped directly to Journey.

Journey Loves Its Teachers!

It’s well known that teachers often end up covering a significant part of their classroom needs out of their own pocket on school supplies each year. Many teachers also purchase supplies for students that show up empty handed; this includes student backpacks. Knowing this, for 13 years straight, Journey has coordinated a school supply drive to benefit teachers and students at Journey’s 4 local partner schools – San Miguel Elementary School (Lemon Grove); Bancroft Elementary School (Spring Valley); Monte Vista High School (Spring Valley); and La Mesa Arts Academy.

You can help! In addition to donating school supplies from the shopping list or Amazon, there are also plenty of opportunities to volunteer towards this effort!

Donations Drop Off
Collection bins will be located at the following locations: 

Journey Office
Tuesday- Friday from 9am-5pm

Twice Treasured Thrift Store
Wednesday- Saturday from10am- 6pm

Main Lobby 
Friday at 6:30pm & Sunday 9am-11am
(during weekend services)

Volunteer Opportunities

Help us Sort and Deliver! 

We need some extra hands with sorting school supplies and delivery.

Monday, August 5th or Tuesday, August 6th

All Ages are welcome.

Delivery Drivers & Loaders:

Looking for loaders and drivers with trucks to help deliver supplies to schools.

Possible days are August 6-8th.

Dates and times will vary (based on availability)
