Connecting with God & Others

Women's ministry
We believe that everyone is designed for deep, meaningful relationships with God and others. In other words, church isn’t really about attending “services,” it’s about building relationships.

Women’s Ministries desires to provide a variety of ways to simply connect women to God and to each other. Think of it like an umbrella with the word “Connection” on it and under that umbrella are options for this to happen! In a big church like Journey, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd! But, we don’t want that to happen and the truth is, we really do need each other.

Weekly bible study

Our new series Jesus and Women begins Tuesday, January 12 and Wednesday, January 13

Please come join us as we kick off the year TOGETHER! We have been through a very tough season and it’s so very important to gather together.

Jesus and Women….in the First Century and Now

Come join us as we begin a new, exciting series, “Jesus and Women…in the First Century and Now,” by Kristi McLelland. The author and teacher is a Biblical culturalist and she takes you back to Jesus’ first-century world, explaining the historical and cultural climate of His day to help you know Him more deeply. This series is a thoughtful look at several of Jesus’ interactions with women in the Bible that will fuel your worship of the Living God.

In this 7-week series, we will explore how Jesus generously restores dignity and honor to women in the first century AND now, as well as learning how to view the Bible through a Middle Eastern lens and gain deeper insight into the Biblical world with a fresh perspective on familiar Bible stories.

This series has wonderful reviews and very eye opening, relevant information to our lives today.

Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 pm

Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 am

We are meeting in small groups either in person or on zoom. Sign up below to be connected with a group.

Due to the ever changing Covid circumstances, it is in the best interest of all to not gather in the larger group to view the teaching video, but to do that on your own. Some groups are opting to meet in person, but no more than 15 and most groups are meeting via zoom. You are welcome to join us!
