Hope For The Homeless Blankets ‘n’ Bibles Drive
Our homeless friends want bibles and we want to deliver them, with a blanket or a beanie and prayer! Dec. 15 through Jan. 28, please drop your donations of gently used blankets, bibles and beanies into our collection bins for our Hope for the Homeless team to distribute during the Friday night meal deliveries. If you’d like to personalize and ‘adopt’ someone to pray for learn more at journeycommunitychurch.com/hope
We will also accept sleeping bags, coats, gloves and socks. Please launder used items before donating.
If you’d like to Adopt a friend to pray for, here’s how:
1. Write a personal note and/ or prayer for a homeless friend.
2. Include that note inside your bible.
3. Bundle your bible and blanket together with twine.
4. Include a tag with your name/ email / phone # (Tags and twine will be available next to the bins after services).
5. Drop into collection bin and Pray.*

If possible, we’ll get you a name and picture of the recipient of your bible & blanket so that you can continue to personally pray for them by name.
