Journey appreciates all of its teachers. We partner with (AKA “support”) several. In the Fall (it’s not that far away!) we will collect supplies for these schools, as well as for teachers who attend Journey. In the Spring, we serve lunch to the staff at our partner schools during National Teachers Week.
This year, National Teachers Day is May 7 and National Teachers Week is May 5 – 9. We will be serving during the lunchtime at Bancroft Elementary on Tuesday, May 6, San Miguel Elementary on Wednesday, May 7, and La Mesa Middle School on Thursday, May 8. Do you have a child or grandchild attending one of these schools? Did you attend one of these schools? Wouldn’t it be great to be a part of a small team of people who will be serving (and honoring!) teachers at these schools? We would love for you to join us!
