Journey Women’s Retreat

Friday, March 16 – Sunday, March 18

Pine Valley Bible Conference Center

Come join us for a fun weekend retreat in beautiful Pine Valley.
Take a weekend away from “normal life” to relax, get refreshed, spend time in God’s presence and with others.

Featuring guest speaker Leeana Tankersley, author of
Begin Again: The Brave Practice of Releasing Hurt and Receiving Rest.

Worship will be led by Journey’s Emily Benitez. Plus there will be lots of free time including activities like yoga, a painted prayer walk, and a few breakout sessions. It’s going to be a fantastic weekend!

There are so many moments in life when we choose to silence our intuition, abandon our own voice, and play small because of that accusing voice inside that whispers: “How dare you” and “Who do you think you are?” Join Leeana Tankersley as she speaks on the subject of “Brazen”—a word that means “without shame”—and the courageous acts of receiving our identity, reclaiming our voice, and recovering our soul. Some of the most beautiful parts of us have gone dormant for a time, and Leeana will talk about allowing God’s love to reawaken us.

Friday Night Session: “A Brazen Invitation”

Saturday Morning Session: “Receiving Your Identity”

Saturday Night Session: “Reclaiming Your Voice”

Sunday Morning Session: “Recover Your Soul”

Leeana Tankersley is the author of 4 books, including Breathing Room, Brazen, and her newest, Begin Again: The Brave Practice of Releasing Hurt and Receiving Rest. She is a native of San Diego, a mom of three, and a lover of chips and salsa. Leeana lives in El Cajon with her family. You can find out more about her work at
