One of the best parts about or staff team is our Director of Technical Arts leader Jim Hammond. Of course Jim is a sound, lighting, computer, staging wizard. You know that if you go to Journey or even if you see the pics of the services on this blog. But he is also a really good leader of people. He is a team builder. He is a person who has a “sky-high get it factor.

We just finished our Journey Up 2.0 series. Jim sent this email to his team members.

Hey Team,

We had a great day today (Sunday, the 22nd).  This was and is an important series to the life and longevity of Journey.  If you didn’t get a chance to fill out a commitment card, please take a moment and do that.  Even though we are behind the scenes we are still leaders in the Worship experience and we need to lead by example even if no one notices.  God does, and he will bless you for that.  That is why we do what we do in the first place, to honor God and give glory to His name. Thanks for your commitment to God and to Journey.

This week we will do a small stage change as we segway into the Dialogue series.  If you can make it, please come Wednesday at 7.  We’ll take down the Journey Up set and prep the set for Dialogue.

Also, please post any March schedule conflicts in Planning Center.  I would like to have that finished by the end of the week.

Have a great week.

Blessings…

…jim

I’m grateful to lead with people like Jim.

Sorry for not asking you in in advacne if I could post your email, Jim.
