We hear about human trafficking, but did you know it’s happening right here in our community? Human trafficking is occurring in our east county neighborhoods and Journey Against Exploitation (JAE) would like to help us better understand what it is and how we can respond to it.
“A Path Appears” examines human trafficking across the U.S., and highlights programs that are bringing hope to survivors and change to our neighborhoods. Hear from survivors and organizations bringing change, learn the risk factors and how you can help.
Q&A to follow with Fanny Yu: Deputy District Attorney, Juvenile Division.
